Sequina King

Sequina King is a fourth year Radio/Television/Film and English major at Northwestern University, whilst also minoring in Game Design + Media Arts + Animation. Captivated by the relationship between the conventions of storytelling and its influence, she relishes in the outliers of the boundary, urging herself artistically to produce works of “experience”. When able to, you can find her at the movies, a concert, or in the middle of a game/book. Via the Pritzker Pucker Studio Lab, Sequina aspires to convey the various perceptions and depictions of the body, along with her own: from the mental struggles and trauma it withstands and is displaced onto it to the poor representation of disabilities and race.
