Lulu Tian is a first-year student in the Documentary Media MFA Program. She is interested in stories that start difficult but necessary conversations, particularly within Asian/Asian American communities. Lulu majored in cognitive science in undergrad because of her interest in mental health and the human mind. Now, she hopes to bring her past experiences in the mental health field together with filmmaking to create pieces that recognize the complexities behind mental health and identity.
