Kailey Morand is a sophomore Theatre and English major in the Music Theatre Certificate. She is involved in performance and writing on campus, with her work being seen as a Writing Coordinator for The Waa-Mu Show, Literary Manager for the Purple Crayon Players, and playwright for new work opportunities such as Adaptfest. Kailey is interested in the nuances of portraying eating disorders, anxiety, and addiction on screen and is excited to explore respectful and accurate depictions while fostering healthy approaches to writing and producing sensitive work. Much of Kailey’s work centers girlhood and the female experience, and she is excited to expand on these themes in PPSL.
