Francesca Gamba is a third-year Radio/Television/Film major at Northwestern University with a minor in Theatre and Entrepreneurship focusing on Acting for the Screen. She is involved in many organizations on campus, serving as the Industry Chair for both the Women’s Filmmaker Alliance and the Multicultural Filmmaker Collective. Francesca has always been passionate about storytelling through all kinds of artistic mediums. She graduated from LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts in New York City where she began her interest in filmmaking. Since then, she has gone on to act, cast, edit, film, and direct for the screen both on and off campus. As a screenwriter, Francesca is committed to reshaping societal perceptions of mental health on screen with a specific focus on mood disorders. She is thrilled to learn how to portray mood disorders more accurately and effectively through the Pritzker Pucker Studio Lab.
