Abdeljaleel Ismail is a Second Year MFA Student in the Writing for Screen and Stage Program. His writing comes in the form of feature length film screenplays, hour long tv pilots, and stage plays. His work primarily faces questions of morality, circumstance, ambition, and identity. Prior to his MFA, he worked in film production finance and podcast production. He’s excited to explore mental health in the arts and create a narrative film as a PPSL fellow this year!
